Telkari M.Ö. 3000’lerde yukarı Mezopotamya’da doğmuş, adından anlaşılacağı gibi tellerle yapılan bir el işçiliği. Her bölgenin telkarisinin kendince incelikleri, farklılıkları varsa da, genel geçer tarifiyle telkari mikron kalınlığında gümüş ya da altın tellerin, burulup silindirde ezildikten sonra, bir harmoni içerisinde yine çok ince bir metal çerçevenin icine sıkıştırılıp kaynak yapılması ile oluşturuluyor.

    • For gold vermeil or plated jewelry: Avoid polishing cloths or anything abrasive, as they may wear the surface. A soft, dry cloth is best.
