Since 2010, Lunapark Shop had stood quietly just below Galata Tower, nestled on Şahkulu Street — one of Istanbul’s very first designer concept stores.
With its founding mission to honor and uplift local design in response to the question, “Why don’t we value our century-old brands more?”, Lunapark pioneered the “Turkish Very Much” concept. It brought together jewelry, textiles, cosmetics, toys, stationery, accessories, and home decor — uniting emerging creatives with Turkey’s leading designers, and hosting the work of over 170 independent makers.
As of November 2018, we were thrilled to join their thoughtfully curated world — both online at lunaparkshop.com and in their warm, welcoming Galata store.
Though Lunapark Shop closed its doors in 2022 after the challenges of the pandemic, it remains a cherished part of Istanbul’s design history and of our own journey. We’re grateful to have been a small part of it.
